The Simple Joys of Moving

Moving produces more than its fair share of annoyances and troubles. But it does have its fun moments. Like the simple joy of hurling stuff off a balcony, in preparation for bagging it up to take to some charitable institution.

I am always astounded at the amount of junk that collects in houses over time. And I actually do try to run a pretty lean household!

My friend and former ARCO colleague Bart Brewer said it best many years ago: you should move once a decade, whether you need to or not, just to get rid of stuff you don’t really need. A philosophy which Bart was quick to point out applied to companies and their employees just as much as households :).
