A quick FYI to my neighbors: we’ve asked the City to let us create a temporary no parking zone in front of 286, 282, 287 and 283 Chestnut Street. It’ll be for “construction hours” (which I believe are from 8 AM to 5 PM) on Thursday and Friday. We want to ensure traffic can get by while the dump trucks are loading debris from the demolition.
I don’t expect this should cause any big problems, as I rarely see vehicles parked in front of those houses (and of course 286 is the project site and 282 is where we’re living).
